Blind Tiger's design was inspired by the vibrancy of the city that envelops it. Common spaces are rich in texture and color, creating vibrant areas for gathering with friends or hosting a casual event. Nine sophisticated–yet cozy–bedrooms and suites, each with a modern bath, comfort guests with unique moments of art, natural textures, and pops of color. The design for each guest room was individually considered to reflect an aspect of Portland’s contemporary culture, with a mix of vintage finds and modern pieces. Thoughtful amenities like essential oil aromatherapy diffusers and picnic blankets and baskets let guests create their own ideal mix of relaxation and adventure, making Blind Tiger one of the best places to stay in Portland, Maine.
Guests will find a pantry stocked with housemade snacks, fresh pastries and fruit, coffee and tea, as well as cocktail books, recipes, bitters, and shrubs to craft favorite drinks. Take your drink down to the basement speakeasy-turned-billiard room or up to the 4th-level cupola that overlooks Portland's West End and the harbor beyond before you head out for your next adventure in Maine's hippest city.
All of our guest rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests, except Bon Viveur, which can accommodate a total of 4 (an additional per person per night charge of $50 will apply). Please note that our Portland boutique hotel is a historic building with 3 levels and no elevators.
